Private Practice Revenue Worksheet
Staying on top of how much money your private practice generates can be challenging. You likely have clients at different per session rates and clients that attend with different frequencies. The math can get tricky in a hurry.
That's where my free client revenue worksheet comes in. It walks you through a simple, three-step process to estimate your annual revenue and average session fee. This simple tool will also allow you to see what your practice's revenue would be if you added more clients, or changed your pricing.
You can complete the worksheet in either Google Sheets or Excel. Google Sheets will require that you have (and are logged in to) a Google account. The Excel worksheet requires you have Excel installed. Links to both options are below. If you don't have a Google account, you can click on the Google Sheet link below and then follow the prompts to Create Account - it's completely free.
The worksheet contains step-by-step instructions. I've also recorded the below video which walks you through completing the worksheet.
But Wait, There's More!
Once you've filled out the worksheet with your current clients, you can also experiment with different scenarios. You could add hypothetical future clients at various price points to see what the overall impact would be to your revenue. You could also experiment with increasing the fee charged for certain clients to see how overall revenue changes.
To create a copy of the worksheet for different scenarios, in Google Sheets, click File → Make a Copy. In Excel click File → Save As.
