Quick Start Intensive Questionnaire
When reviewing the below questions, remember that there are no right or wrong answers. I simply want to get a better understanding of where you are coming from and how you feel about your current situation. Feel free to write as much as you want or you believe would be helpful for me to know!
If a question doesn’t make sense to you, simply note that (or leave it blank). When dealing with finances, there are often terms that come up which are confusing or unfamiliar. The financial world is so broad, complex and ever-evolving that I am often learning new terminology and concepts myself!
You don’t need to share any more than you feel comfortable and there is no need to share specific financial information or dollar amounts. I review these questions before our Intensive to help make our time together as productive as possible.
Q1: What is your most pressing financial concern?
Q2: How do you feel about your retirement savings? Is this an important goal for you?
Q3: How do you feel about your balance of earning, spending and saving?
Q4: Do you have any debt outstanding that feels important to address?
Q5: Outside of retirement savings, do you have any other money saved? Do you have other specific financial goals or demands you’d like to prepare for?
Q6: Have you invested any money in the stock market? How do you feel about investing? Is there anything specific about investing you’d like to discuss?
Q7: Do you have any questions related to your small business? This might include issues related to pricing, tax, bookkeeping, business entity (e.g. LLC or Professional Corporation) or even a professional will.
Q8: Is there anything else you’d like me to know?
Q9: A few last quick things...
- What is your (approximate) age?
- Do you have a romantic partner? And if so, are you in a legally recognized relationship (married, registered domestic partnership, etc.)?
- Is anyone (other than you) dependent on your care or income?
Once you've scheduled your Intensive, I'll send you a link to a secure file to complete these questions. (Or if you're eager to get started, click here to create your own personal, private copy.)
