Coaching is the most flexible engagement model, which makes it an attractive option especially if you're just getting started.
The defining characteristic of coaching is that you'll be doing more of the heavy lifting. But don't let that scare you off!
If we were working together on a project (or if we were engaging in holistic, ongoing planning), I'd be doing a lot of analytical work behind the scenes and then sharing the results with you.
In coaching, I'll be helping you (e.g. coaching) you to complete that work on your own. Don't worry! I'll never leave you feeling unsupported. And I have some very handy worksheets and templates to help you on your way.
Because I do less work outside of our meetings, coaching is generally the most affordable option. That said, I've done my best to price projects engagements affordably as well.
If you're looking for an affordable option to help get your arms around your overall financial life, coaching could be the perfect option for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for more extensive help in one particular area (say maybe student loans), then a Project Engagement might well be a better fit.
The first step in the coaching engagement process is to complete a Quick Start Coaching Intensive with me, which I describe on the Start Here page.
